50th post

Wow I cannot believe this is the 50th post! Tomorrow is going to be spent packing our clothing and finishing up all our work so we can leave on Thursday. I am so excited. I have all my people set up that are going to take care of Navajo and so I know he will be in good hands:)

TOMORROW I HAVE NAVAJO ONE WHOLE YEAR and since I don't know his b-day it is also his birthday. He turns 28. Or that is what I think because I don't know his exact age. He is going to be treated to some gingersnaps and extra grooming. I am so excited.

Well now for our ride update. I did ride him tonight and he did quite well. We rode on the road again but turned around before the pony's pasture. Once we are back from WI I want to ride him farther down the road to the bridge that is along that road. When we got to the place to turn around I told him to trot. He trotted really nice for me. Then I turned him off of the road onto the grass strip and got him to trot. He did quite well. We did a little cantering also. I got back to the barn and I unsaddled him and then brushed him and then turned him out. He is a happy horse:) Well must run. I will try to update on the blog here while on my trip but don't know if that will happen or not. Have a great evening.
