Wednesday's work session

Today I worked with Navajo:D I took Navajo out in the field to work with him..HE did great..I got him to move his hindquarters and forequarters..Did great with both:) I gave him a treat...Then I got him to trot beside me...at first I had to pull on the halter to get him to follow me..but then toward the end all I had to do was go from a walk to jog and he would go from a walk to trot:) It wasa awesome..We have to work on the stop but I am so happy with how far I have come with him..Then he saw the box van my uncle is selling and he was a bit nervous of that...but I took him up to it and he sniffed it and he was fine:) Then I wanted to go back into the field so I could take him to his pasture again:) And he wanted to canter and run off...I just made him go in circles around me and finally got him to go where I wanted to go...Hehe..He did good though..I am so happy..IT was an awesome day of inhand work/groundwork..I love the big guy..he is so sweet..Everyone have a great day!!
