Today I did some groudnwork with Navajo. Mainly it was desentizing:) I used a rake, a plastic bag and a bottle full of stones. First I shook the plastic bag and he was scared of it but I gained his trust and was able to run it all over his body. AWESOME. I had done a little with the rake the earlier today and he was real jumpy at first but at the end let me run it all over his body. Then I did it again this evening and he was still a bit jumpy but accepted it. Then I shook the bottle of stones and he was ok with that since it only made noise :D Funny guy:) I am so happy that he did a good job and that I was able to get him to do all this with little fuss! No riding but that is ok. This was good as well.
