Thursday's Ride!

Today I got on Navajo and we rode bareback. I wasn't sure if I would get to ride long and I wanted our last ride before we went away to be fun :) So that is what we did. We mainly just rode around at a walk and I got him to move his hindquarters and forquarters around. He did well. IT was fun because it is mainly for the fun of it and also just to be relaxing even if it is work :) We went behind the steer barn and did some trotting. I stopped him and got him to move his hindquarters around both ways. We went in a circle. That was a first but he did good. Then we went up to the area on the hill and I walked him up the hill a few times. I got him to canter toward the lane a few times as well. That was quite fun. I rode for about 45 minutes and then went back to the barn and groomed him and loved on him. I hope to ride when we get back. We shall see. I will be updateing while I am gone!
