So again last night I got to ride. It was nice because so far this week I have been able to ride every day. I love summer. Anyway as I was saying last night I got to ride and we worked a bit on moving the hindquarters over when I was on him toward the end of the ride because Navajo wasn't behaving. Well we started out and he was acting a bit sluggish which was ok because it was a bit warm. We trotted most of the time but I did get him into a canter one time. I cantered up the strip a ways as if going back to the barn and then went to turn him around and then he didn't want to obey. So I was like ok you don't want to obey we will walk in circles for a while and then I backed him up for a good while. He was quite confident with backing by the time I was done riding but that is good. Anyway I did get him to move his hindquarters over a few times but that is going to need a lot of work.

We leave for Wisconsin in about 5 days. I am so excited. I am going to miss Navajo but I know that he will be in good hands while I am gone. I need to go write out some schedules for them. So I must run again. Have a great weekend.
