Thursday Morning's Groundwork!

This morning I worked with Navajo a bit. I am going to train him to walk forward when I lean my shoulder forward. For now what I am doing is making a kissing sound and pulling on the leadroap and leaning my shoulder forward. That is the cue for him to move his feet. Then once we have that down we are going to work at stopping when I move my shoulder back:) He did really good but it is going to need a lot of work:) I am hoping to ride tonight if it doesn't rain. We will see! It is a wonderful day out there so far..I am really liking this nice weather:) Hope everyone had a great day so far as well. Talk soon Ruth Ann ♥ Navajo
